High School
Our high school program is designed to empower students by first establishing a foundation within their comfort zones and then guiding them towards personal growth and new opportunities. We customize coursework to align with each student’s individual goals, ensuring they receive targeted support for specific skills while engaged in grade-level material.
Every day begins and ends with structured planning sessions, which enhance students' executive functioning and help them manage their time effectively. We also place a strong emphasis on developing vital social skills, which are taught explicitly and monitored for ongoing improvement.
Beginning in the 8th grade, we ignite career exploration, and students in 9th and 10th grades have the invaluable opportunity to visit various companies each year, opening their minds to possible career paths. By the junior year, students are typically referred to the Office of Rehabilitation Services, providing them with crucial resources and guidance as they prepare to enter the workforce.
To connect classroom learning to real-world experiences, we offer enriching monthly field trips that further enhance our curriculum. Join us in fostering the growth and success of our students as they embark on their exciting journeys into adulthood!
